JK Band attended the International Music Festival and the 60th Annual Parade of Nations. They received a 3rd place bronze medal in Category I from the Virginia International Music Festival and another bronze medal from the Parade of Nations!
Haley Cooke and Carlos Martinez were crowned King & Queen at the Prom. "A Vintage Affair" was held at Duplin Commons Friday, May 3, 2013.
James Kenan won the Duplin County JROTC Quiz Bowl. It was held in the media center at James Kenan on Wednesday, April 24.
Juniors and seniors from JK and WRH participated in the Fun to Fatal program Thursday, April 25 at James Kenan. Students watched a mock performance of what happens when you drink and drive. Students from both schools role-played in the event.
