High School Registration / Promotion Requirements

PROMOTION REQUIREMENTS

High school students shall be promoted by attaining credits that are earned through successful completion of specific required courses as illustrated in the following (Note: The appropriate English credit is required for promotion each year.):

English I, two credits in the areas of mathematics, social studies, or science, and three

additional credits

English II, one credit in mathematics, one in social studies, one in science, and two

additional credits

English III and enrollment in a program which, if successfully accomplished, will result in

the completion of graduation requirements

PROMOTION REQUIREMENTS

English + 5 units = 6 total (from grade 9 to 10)

2 English + 11 units = 13 total (from grade 10 to 11)

3 English + 17 units = 20 total (from grade 11 to 12)
