My name is Jennifer Rivenbark. I am a Career & Technical Education (CTE) teacher for seventh and eighth grade at E. E. Smith Middle School in Kenansville. I attended Chowan College (now Chowan Univeristy) of Murfreesboro, North Carolina, where I earned my Associate's Degree in Retail Merchandising in May of 1979. I went on to pursue the field of business administration at East Carolina University, of Greenville, North Carolina from 1979-1982.  I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Managmenet and Organizational Development from Mount Olive College of Mount Olive, North Carolina in December of 1999.  I began my teaching profession in August 2006 as a lateral entry teacher. As a lateral entry teacher I was able to bring my twenty plus years of business management and business owner experiences into the classroom. In May of 2009, I obtained my Master of Arts in Teaching - Business Education from East Carolina University of Greenville, North Carolina. |
