involvement. ![]() The faculty, the students, and the community are proud to be a part of the continuous growth of our school and its progress since January 2, 1956. A year later, on October 7, 1976, the school was accredited by the N. C. State Department of Public Instruction. In 1985-1986, North Duplin Junior High and North Duplin Senior High merged to form North Duplin Junior/Senior High School. During the same year, North Duplin Junior / Senior High School was reaccredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The most recent building addition houses two new computer labs, a state of the arts science lab with an adjoining classroom, and a soundproof music room. North Duplin is unique. The continuity of grades seven through twelve creates a strong bond of unity that promotes a special relationship between students, faculty, and community. All members of the school family strive to uphold this unique relationship. |
