I have worked for Duplin County Schools for 25 years. This is my 20th year at Warsaw Elementary School. I graduated from UNCW in 1985 with a BS degree in Business Administration and ECU in 1993 with a Masters in Library Science.

We are expecting great things this year in the media center. Students will be busy reading, taking AR tests, using Success Maker and many more things! We are expecting them to really utilize the media center this year!

Please encourage your child/children to read every day!

We are privileged this year to have Mrs. Karen McGee helping in the library. Mrs. McGee will be in the media center assistant on Monday's to help our students in various areas. Most of our students already know Mrs. McGee. She has been a substitute teacher at Warsaw for quite some time. She is going to be a fantastic asset to our media center!!

Fourth and fifth grade students will quickly be gearing up for our Battle of the Books competition. Teams will be selected very soon. More information will be forthcoming.
