The week of October 24-28 will be Spirit Week at JK! Show your school spirit by dressing out.....Twins Day (M), Disney Day (T), Way Back--50s, 60s, 70s, 80s (W), Professional Day (Th), and Friday is Black & Gold Day! The Tigers will kick off at 7pm Friday night against Spring Creek. Seniors will be introduced at 6:45. Come out and show your support!
James Kenan High School has earned the “Clean School” award for Duplin County Schools. Director of Maintenance Ronald Moore and Saffelle Representative Sandra Ganus presented the custodial staff and school administrators with the Clean School banner and gifts of appreciation for a job well done during a Board of Education meeting. Members of the winning team are Darlene Carr, Karen Melvin, Deleon Simmons, and Head Custodian Swindell Best.
