Hi there!
Welcome to 4th Grade! My name is Amanda Outlaw, and I have taught 4th Grade for 7 years now. I moved to Duplin County in 2014, and live with my husband, our two children, and our chocolate labOn the weekends we love to be at the beach, play outside, watch NC State or Carolina Panthers football, read, fish, hunt, run, and craft. I have a brother who lives in Greenville, and a sister who attends Campbell University. I graduated from UNCG in 2014 with a B.S. in Elementary Education, concentration in Environmental Science, and a minor in Sociology.
My classroom is a place where all children are invited to learn, engage and have a voice in their education. My goal is to have each of my students succeed academically and personally while maximizing their potenial each and every day. I vow to discover and build upon each of your child's strengths.----------------------------------------------------------I am so excited to be able to provide my 4th graders with the opportunity to begin their personalized learning journey with technology. NCDPI provided an application for a grant to receive 20 chromebooks for a class. Fortunately, I received the grant and we have loved using our chrome books daily!
