The NCEdCloud IAM Service provides LEAs and Charter Schools a tool to enable their students, teachers, and employees, to use a single account to login to integrated Target Applications, including Home Base.
When will we start using NCEdCloud IAM Service?
The NCEdCloud IAM Service will be integrated with Home Base applications for back-to-school 2015-2016. It will replace the current PowerSchool SSO system. All employees will need to claim their NCEdCloud account before July 6, 2015.
Below is a description of the Homebase icons that will appear in the NCEdCloud Application window upon teacher login.

What is my eScholar UID?
The eScholar UID number is the former 9- or 10-igit NCWise Student or Pupil Number (for students) and the 10-digit State Employee UID or PowerSchool UID for teachers and staff (it should be the same number.) For teachers, it is the same number/username you have been currently using to logon to PowerSchool. If you are unaware of your UID number, click hereto find instructions on how to access your UID. You have to be on the school network to access the UID site.
What capabilities will I have as a teacher?
As a teacher, you have the ability to change and reset your students' passwords to minimize class downtime. The NCEdCloud IAM System pulls course information from PowerSchool, so that you have access to all of the students you teach during the current schedule. The video below demonstrates how to change and reset student passwords.
