Duplin County Schools offers a comprehensive program of career and technical education for
students. Exploratory courses and career information services are offered in the middle grades.
Courses are offered in Agricultural, Business Finance and Information Technology, Family and
Consumer Sciences, Health Sciences, Marketing, Technology Engineering and Design, and
Trade and Industrial Education at the high school level as well as career guidance and planning
services. Support services to special populations are provided at each K-8 (for grades 6-8) and
high school. Work-based experiences in high school apprenticeship, cooperative education,
program internships, and shadowing opportunities are available in the high schools.
