Degrees and Certifications:
Welcome Back !
Greetings parents and students,
Welcome to Eagle land! I am Miss Kedetta Dawson and I am your child’s Exceptional Children’s resource teacher. I am very excited about the 2019-2020 school year and I look forward to working closely with you to ensure your child’s success. Our school strives to create a meaningful learning environment, while providing quality education to our scholars. With your help, we will do just that.
I am a graduate of Winston-Salem State University and I hold a degree in psychology. I am also a registered behavior technician (RBT) and I have prior experience working with children who have learning and developmental disorders. I am very passionate about my career and I hope to instill the same passion within our scholars.
Scholars are expected to report to my classroom at their designated times, prepared and ready to learn. They will be provided with an additional schedule that will denote the times throughout the week for resource classes. .
It is very important that we keep in contact throughout this school year. If you need to contact me, you may call the school after 3:15, Monday-Friday, at (910-289-3667), email me anytime at firstname.lastname@example.org, or send a note through your child. I will also be in contact soon regarding your child’s Individualized Education Plan(IEP).
