    --Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Chi Iota Omega Chapter High School Senior Scholarship - Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Chi Iota Omega Chapter is dedicated to providing support for lifelong learning. Chi Iota Omega Chapter offers assistance to graduating seniors throughout Duplin County. Our community, specifically our youth must be poised to compete within our global markets.     --Automotive Aftermarket Scholarships Central - Students can apply for hundreds of available scholarships to be awarded for the 2021-22 academic year to students studying in engineering, accounting, business or other courses of study to enter the automotive field, as well as those training to become automotive, heavy duty or collision repair technicians. Each completed application is considered for all scholarships where the student meets the qualifications.

    --BBB Torch Scholarship - Torch Scholarships are given to college-bound high school juniors, seniors, and college undergraduates who reside or attend school within BBB of Eastern North Carolina's 33-county service area. Scholarship prizes totaling $15,000 will be awarded in Spring 2021.     --Bold.org Mental Health Movement ScholarshipTo normalize conversation and dialogue around mental health, there must be distinct opportunities to support those who have been impacted by mental health struggles toward their largest goals and aspirations. As a small solution, the Mental Health Movement Scholarship will support one student in any field of study who has battled with mental health or has a loved one who has in the past or currently is experiencing mental health concerns.To apply, please share a 300-word essay describing your personal/loved one’s journey and how you want to use these experiences to positively impact the lives of others battling mental illness.

    --Bold.org Sander Jennings Spread the Love ScholarshipHigh school and undergraduate students in any field of study are eligible to apply.     --cfnc.org - This is a website students can use for some of their college applications and it also has a tool to send transcripts to colleges, but it is also a good resource to search for scholarships.     --Cirkled In Scholarship - Cirkled In is the award-winning, secure, FREE platform for students to create an electronic portfolio showcasing their holistic skills and achievements. Students can get discovered by colleges and increase their success rate for all applications from internships to summer jobs and more.     --Chowan University Athletic Scholarship Opportunity (Gymnastics/Tumbling/Competitive Cheer): This school offers opportunities to those with a background in artistic gymnastics, acrobatics gymnastics, trampoline & tumbling, and competitive cheerleading.     --Coker University Business Fellows Scholarships - This scholarship from Coker University in Hartsville, South Carolina is for high performing students who are interested in Business Administration. The scholarship is up to $15,000 annually for the top finalist and $10,000 annually for two other finalists. Studens must be nominated by January 25, 2021.     --College Board Opportunity Scholarships - The class of 2021 is eligible to earn College Board Opportunity Scholarships. This program will guide students through the college planning process, with a chance to earn scholarship money along the way. Each scholarship is open during different months, so make sure students keep track of their progress! Students can join the program by signing in to their College Board (SAT/AP) account and going to the following link:
     
    --Coca-Cola Scholars FoundationThe Coca Cola Scholars Program, the largest corporate-sponsored, achievement-based scholarship program in the country, is now accepting applications from current high school seniors to become Coca-Cola Scholars and receive one of 150 college scholarships worth $20,000. Students with at least a 3.0 GPA may apply. Full eligibility requirements can be found on the website.

    --Criminal Justice Fellows Program - The Criminal Justice Fellows Program can aid you in achieving your goal of becoming a criminal justice professional. This organization is here to offer you a 100% forgivable loan to go to any NC community college to acquire an Associates Degree. The loan will be forgiven upon 4 years of working in an eligible profession and county.

    --Cybersecurity Scholarship Guide - The site was created to serve students interested in cybersecurity by delivering accurate, high quality information presented in a simple, clean format. They have quickly put together the most comprehensive resource available online and are working daily to add additional student resources. To support their mission they are working to get free resources in front of as many students as possible.  Here is a scholarship resource on the site that students might be interested in:
     
    --Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Duplin County Alumnae Chapter - This is a $500 scholarship that will be available to current male seniors to apply for. Applicants must have a 2.75 GPA or higher and must attend a college or university after graduation. Students must attend a Duplin County school or Pender High School/Pender Early College district.

    --Duplin County Cattleman's Association Scholarship - At least one $500 scholarship will be awarded. The scholarship is open to graduating seniors from Duplin County who plan to attend either a 2-year or 4-year institution in an agriculture related field of study.

    --Duplin County Education Foundation (DCEF) Scholarships - The Duplin County Education Foundation awards the following scholarships (listed on the website) to graduating seniors in Duplin County Schools each year. The scholarship awards are given at the annual M. Austin Carter Academic Awards Celebrations.  All student applicants are asked to be present at the celebration.  Please read each scholarship that you are applying for to guarantee that you submit all that is required to make an application.  Incomplete scholarships will not be considered.  For questions, please contact the president of the Education Foundation Board of Directors or Duplin County Schools, 910-296-1521.

    --Duplin Health Science Academy Scholarship - This scholarship will be awarded to seniors in the Duplin Health  Sciences Academy who plan to attend a four year college/university or a two year community college to pursue a health science degree. This year the scholarship committee will award up to five $500 scholarships to eligible DHSA graduating seniors. Applicants should be in good standing upon applying.

    --Duplin-Sampson Winston-Salem State University National Alumni Assn. Scholarship - To be eligible, students must be a high school senior graduating in Duplin or Sampson County; have at least a 3.0 GPA, submit a completed application packet, and interview before the scholarship committee.

    --ECU Honors College/ECU Scholars Information - The Honors College is not requiring test scores for the fall 2021 entering class. Students who are unable or choose not to submit test scores will not be at a disadvantage in the Honors College admission process. In order to be eligible to apply to the Honors College, students must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5 and/or a minimum weighted GPA of 4.0, and apply to ECU no later than November 25 (application must be complete by this date, including receipt of transcripts). Students who are interested in the ECU Scholars Program must first be accepted to the ECU Honors College.

    --Elevate Mental Health Awareness Scholarship - This $500 scholarship is designed to inspire greater awareness about mental health and fuel innovative solutions that help the millions of people who are suffering.

     --Elon Teaching Fellows Program Elon Teaching Fellows Program is a four-year sequenced, developmental and transformational $29,500 scholarship opportunity for the preparation of teachers who will become leaders in the field.  After applying to Elon, students may apply to the Fellows Programs until the deadline.

     --Gates Scholarship - The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding, minority, high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to 300 of these student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential.

    --Grow Your Own Duplin County Minority Teachers ScholarshipIn order to meet the increasing demand for top quality teachers and to enhance the diversity of the teaching population of Duplin County Schools, the Duplin County Board of Education has established the Duplin County Minority Teachers Scholarship – Loan. The scholarship provides five graduating seniors who enroll in a community college or university with an intended major in teacher education a scholarship in the amount of $5,000.00 per year, for a maximum of four years.

    --Lois Britt Memorial Pork Industry Scholarship - Ten $2500 scholarships are awarded annually to students who intend to pursue a career in the pork industry with hopes that they may emerge as pork industry leaders themselves someday. The scholarships are focused on undergraduate students in a two-year swine program or a four-year college of agriculture.

    --Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation - The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation provides scholarships to eligible children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen, Chaplains, and Religious Program Specialists. Scholarships are for military children pursuing a post-secondary education at any accredited school-whether that be a trade school, career training, community college, or four-year university.     --Matthew C. Graziadei Achievement Scholarship - This scholarship is open to ANY NC high school senior with ANY type of disability. This award includes a $1500 scholarship to be used for any post high school learning experience/training or for equipment/technology needed for employment.     --McCormick & Murphy Personal Injury Scholarship - This scholarship is available to all high school seniors and current college students who are planning on entering the law field.     --NAACP of Duplin County Scholarship -  One scholarship is available for each of the five high schools in Duplin County. To be eligible: Students should be a senior at a Duplin County High School or a current senior who is active in the Duplin County NAACP Branch or Youth Council who does not attend a DC high school; plan to enroll as a full time student at an accredited 4 year or 2 year college/university working toward a Bachelor or Associate Degree; should be a current member of the Duplin County NAACP Branch or Youth Council.

    --NCSU Textile Scholarship Endorsement - For scholarship consideration, students must have submitted an NCSU admissions application by the Early Action deadline of November 1st. These scholarships are designed for students who are interested in a career in fields such as engineering, business management, design, chemistry, polymers, forensics, medical fields, fashion merchandising and retail management.     --NC Child Support Council Scholarship - To be eligible, at least one parent of the student must be a member of the NC Child Support Council or a client of the Child Support Program. The applicant must be a resident of NC and must have been accepted by a NC school of higher learning, as well as maintaining a C average or above during his/her highschool career.

    --Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Scholarship - This scholarship is from the Kappa Rho Chapter in Clinton, NC. A complete application packet must be submitted in order to be considered. Three letters of reference-community person, teacher and/or counselor, your official transcript and verification of enrollment must be submitted in a timely manner once you enroll in the college you will be attending. The scholarship will be awarded after successful completion of your first semester in college.

    --Prudential Spirit of Community Awards/ScholarshipAre you a middle level or high school student making a difference through volunteering? Apply today for national recognition, a scholarship and an invitation to the program's national recognition events!The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards honors students in grades 5-12 for making meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer service.     Eligibility: In order to be eligible to apply to the National College Match in the fall of 2020, applicants must graduate from high school during or before the summer of 2021 and plan to enroll as a freshman in college in the fall of 2021.

    --RevenueZen Social Selling Scholarship - Applicants must submit a YouTube video in which they explain, present, inspire, or otherwise convince us as to why they deserve to win this scholarship. There are no conditions or requirements for the video. Be as creative as you would like. Please keep submissions between 2 and 10 minutes. The winning submission will be the one which most clearly and creatively conveys a start-to-finish strategy of how you will use social selling in a job application process.

    --SigEp Balanced Man Scholarship - This scholarship is for young men planning on attending one of the schools listed on the website. To qualify, male students should submit an online application and enroll full-time at any of the universities listed on the search tool for the fall 2021 term.

    --State Employee Credit Union (SECU) People Helping People Scholarship - This $10,000 scholarship is only available to graduating public high school seniors who are either current members of State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) or the child of a parent/guardian who is a member of SECU at the time of application. Students who are chosen must be accepted and attending one of the 16 constituent campuses of the University of North Carolina System. The eligibility criteria and application are attached. Students must return applications and supporting materials to their School Counselor and must be willing to interview at the Board of Education if chosen by their high school.     --United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP) - The USSYP provides an educational opportunity for juniors and seniors interested in pursuing college coursework in history or political science to spend a week in Washington, DC meeting senators, cabinet members, Supreme Court justices, and officials from various federal agencies and the White House.
