    --APIA Scholarship - The APIA Scholarship is open to Asian and Pacific Islander American students who will be enrolling or are currently enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university as a degree-seeking undergraduate student in the fall of 2020. This year's application opened on September 4th and will close on January 22, 2020.     --Centennial Scholarship (NCSU) - The Wilson College of Textiles at NCSU is now accepting endorsements for their Centennial Scholarship Program. Students must be endorsed by school counselors by November 1st. Please see your Guidance Counselor if you are interested in Endorsement.     --Cirkled In Scholarship - To apply, create a free account at www.cirkledin.com and click the "Apply Now" button. Deadline to apply is September 30, 2019. CLOSED
     
    --cfnc.org - This is a website students can use for some of their college applications and it also has a tool to send transcripts to colleges, but it is also a good resource to search for scholarships.     --Coca Cola Scholars Foundation invests in exceptional students who are dedicated to leadership, service, and action that positively affects others.     --College Board Opportunity Scholarships - The class of 2020 is eligible to earn College Board Opportunity Scholarships. This program will guide students through the college planning process, with a chance to earn scholarship money along the way. Each scholarship is open during different months, so make sure students keep track of their progress!     --Creative Masonry LLC Scholarships - Scholarships are available to anyone and are worth $500. Students who are interested in pursuing a career in construction management or any trade certification should especially apply. 
    Deadline to apply for both scholarships is Dec. 1st. 
     
    --Dream.US - TheDream.US is the nations's largest college access and success program for immigrant youth with DACA or TPS Status, or that meet TheDream.USimmigration eligibility criteria.     --Duplin County Cattlemen's Assn. Agriculture Related Scholarship Program - The scholarship is open to graduating seniors from Duplin County who plan to attend either a 2 year or 4 year institution in an agriculture related field of study.     --Elevate Mental Health Awareness Scholarship - The scholarship is designed to inspire greater awareness about mental health and fuel innovative solutions that help the millions of people who are suffering.     --Gardner Webb University Tucker Heart, Soul, Mind, and Strength Scholarship will reward an incoming first year student who exemplifies living by the compassionate principles and Christian values highlighted in Mark 12:30. Students must be nominated by their counselor.     --Gates Scholarship - Phase I of the Gates Scholarship application opens July 15 and closes September 15, 2019. The Gates Scholarship is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for Pell-eligible high school seniors. Scholars will receive funding for the full cost of attendance that is not already covered by other financial aid and the and the EFC, as determined by the FAFSA.     --Goodnight Scholars Program @ NCSU - Prospective candidates who plan to major in a STEM or education discipline at NCSU and reside in a NC household w/ a pre-tax annual gross income (AGI) of less than $110,000 are eligible to potentially receive an invitation to apply to the Goodnight Scholars Program.     --Greenhouse Scholars Whole Person Program - This program is designed to provide a well-balanced support system during college. Becoming a Greenhouse Scholar means students will get the support they need throughout their time in teh program to start a ripple that will create change in their community. The deadline for Part I of the application is November 22, 2019. Early applications are encouraged as there is a Part II application due December 2, 2019.     --Heisman High School Scholarship - The Heisman High School Scholarship suports education, recognizes achievement, and celebrates community-minded high school student athletes around the country. Seniors, if you strive for excellence in the classroom, on the playing field, and in your community, now is the time to get the recognition you deserve.     --Horatio Alger CTE Scholarships - The Horatio Alger Association honors the achievements of outstanding individuals in our society who have succeeded in spite of adversity and who are committed to supporting young people in pursuit of increased opportunities through higher education.     --Jack Kent Cooke College Scholarship Program - An undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors whith financial need who seek to attend and graduate from the nation's best four-year colleges and universities. The Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program application closes on November 13, 2019.  Application has been extended to Wednesday, November 20th @ 11:59pm! Students can go to https://www.jkcf.org/our-scholarships/ for more information. 
     
    --Jackie Robinson Foundation - The Jackie Robinson Foundation offers promising minority students not only a four year grant to assist with the costs of attending college, but also a full support network of fellow scholars, alumni, and professional mentors to help students excel in school and beyond.     --Matthew C. Graziadei Achievement Scholarship Award - This scholarship is open to any NC high school senior with any type of disability.     --NC Federation of Republican Women - Eligible recipient is a NC High School Senior who is a dependent child of a NC service member wounded or killed while serving from Sept. 11, 2001 to the present. Information and the 2020 application may be obtained by emailing ncfrwcaringforamerica@gmail.com The deadline to submit all required information and documentation is April 15, 2020. 
     
    --NCHSAA Endowed Fund Scholarships - Thanks to the generosity of many donors, the NCHSAA Endowed Fund offers several scholarships to eligible student athletes of NCHSAA member schools. These scholarships provide financial assistance for student athletes who further their education at a college or university.     --North Carolina Criminal Justice Fellows Program - The CJFP provides forgivable educational loans for high school seniors and graduates who agree to enter an eligible criminal justice profession in an eligible county in NC. The program is looking for high school seniors and graduates in the community that have exhibited high academic achievement, a history of service to the school and community, and a desire to serve the state of NC in a field withing the criminal justice system profession.     --Questridge National College Match - QuestBridge is a nationally recognized nonprofit that has helped thousands of students gain admission and full four-year scholarships to top college through the National College Match.     --Ron Brown Scholarship - African American high school seniors are encourage to apply for the Ron Brown Scholarship by either the early deadline of November 1, 2019 or the regular deadline of January 9, 2020. The Ron Brown Scholar Program offers a $40,000 scholarship to up to 30 African American high school seniors each year based on academic excellence and commitment to public service. Applications must be mailed to the Ron Brown Scholar Program office with a postmark dated no later than January 9, 2020.     --Sober Partners College Scholarship - Sober Partners is excited to offer a $1000 college scholarship.     --The Last House College Scholarship - The Last House Sober Living is offering $1000 in financial aid to the winner of their first annual scholarship. Students who have been impacted by addiction are especially encouraged to apply. To be eligible, students must be: currently enrolled at a high school; be a US citizen; have a minimum 3.0 GPA; provide basic student information along with a personal statement essay. Expressed interest in drug and alcohol treatment or mental health is preferred. Deadline to apply is December 10, 2019.     --Thomas Wolfe Scholarship (UNC-CH)- Scholarship for writers who want to attend UNC-CH. Applications will be accepted September 1-Nov 15.     --United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP) The United States Senate Youth Program is a scholarship program that provides an educational opportunity for juniors and seniors interested in pursuing college coursework in history or political science.  Student delegates winning the $10,000 scholarship and attending the week-long event in Washington, D.C. March will hear major policy addresses by Senators, cabinet members and directors from other federal agencies.

    --Veterans of Foreign Wars Scholarship Programs - Scholarship programs are included for middle school and high school students. Prizes and scholarships are awarded at the local, district, state, and national levels. The deadline for the high school "Voice of Democracy" and middle school "Patriot's Pen" programs is midnight, October 31, 2019.     --Victor E. Bell, Jr Scholarship Program (7th grade students) - This scholarship has been established to encourage high potential students with limited financial resources to aspire to a college education. Students must be nominated by their school counselor and applications must be mailed by October 18th.     --Winthrop University Accounting, Mentorship & Professional Development - AMPD is a competitive program developed from a partnership between Winthrop University's College of Business Administration and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). The program is devoted to increasing the number of underrepresented minorities in the accounting field with emphasis placed on preparing students for entry level positions in the acounting profession.
