    SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION:
      
       
    --cfnc.org - This is a website students can use for some of their college applications and it also has a tool to send transcripts to colleges, but it is also a good resource to search for scholarships. Students should set up a cfnc account and go to the following link for scholarship information:
     
    --College Board Opportunity Scholarships - The class of 2021 is eligible to earn College Board Opportunity Scholarships. This program will guide students through the college planning process, with a chance to earn scholarship money along the way. Each scholarship is open during different months, so make sure students keep track of their progress! Students can join the program by signing in to their College Board (SAT/AP) account and going to the following link:
     
    --Cybersecurity Scholarship Guide - The site was created to serve students interested in cybersecurity by delivering accurate, high quality information presented in a simple, clean format. They have quickly put together the most comprehensive resource available online and are working daily to add additional student resources. To support their mission they are working to get free resources in front of as many students as possible.  Here is a scholarship resource on the site that students might be interested in:
     
    --FFA Chapter Scholarship Opportunity (Time Changes Scholarship): A video with more information is posted on the website.

    --Gates Scholarship - The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding, minority, high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to 300 of these student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential.
    Eligibility requirements:
    • High school senior
    • From at least one of the following ethnicities: African American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian/Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American
    • Pell-eligible
    • A US citizen, national, or permanent resident
    • A minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)

     --Jack Kent Cooke Foundation ScholarshipThe Cooke College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend and graduate from the nation's best four-year colleges and universities.

       --KompareIt Higher Education Scholarship - KompareIt works every day to assist consumers in finding the right service for their home or business. We believe in the fundamentals of a strong home and family. We understand that losing a parent or guardian is an incredibly painful experience and it has a huge impact on the home and family. We believe students that are in this position deserve an extra push in helping them with their education, which we’d like to gift via a scholarship towards their educational expenses.

    --NCHSAA Endowed Fund Scholarships - Thanks to the generosity of many donors, the NCHSAA Endowed Fund offers several scholarships to eligible student-athletes of NCHSAA member schools. All scholarships and deadlines are listed on the link below.
     
    --NCSU Park Scholarship - (Scholarship information is listed under "School Specific Scholarship Information" below)
     
    --Questbridge National College Match Program - Are you a low-income high school senior who has excelled academically, but feels that the nation’s best colleges are financially out of reach? The QuestBridge National College Match can be your pathway to a top college. Through this college and scholarship application process, you can apply for free to the nation’s best colleges and be considered for early admission and a full four-year scholarship from the college.

    Eligibility: In order to be eligible to apply to the National College Match in the fall of 2020, applicants must graduate from high school during or before the summer of 2021 and plan to enroll as a freshman in college in the fall of 2021.

    The National College Match is open to all U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents OR students, regardless of citizenship, currently attending high school in the United States.

    --Raise Me scholarships - Earn micro-scholarships directly from colleges and universities for your high school accomplishments! Students can discover the best-fit colleges for them and begin earning scholarships starting in the 9th grade! Do you get A's in your courses, lead a team sport or club, or have perfect attendance? Earn money for these achievements and more! Students can join free at:
     
     SAMI-Aid Scholarship - At SAMI-Aid, we are proud to offer a scholarship program for students in the process of pursuing a college degree.
    The awarded student will receive $1,000 to be used towards expenses for his or her degree.

    --Scholar Snapp - Students can use their CommonApp information to easily apply for scholarships. Once students submit applications through the CommonApp, they will be able to creat a Scholar Snapp profile. They will be guided to connect their accounts so information can be transferred from the CommonApp application to their new Scholar Snapp profile. To connect: 1.) Connect to Scholar Snapp in the Financial Aid Resources tab of your CommonApp. 2.) Log in to your Scholar Snapp account, or register for a new account. 3.)     --WiseGeek Lifelong Learners Scholarship - The WiseGeek Lifelong Learners Scholarships is a $500 scholarship open to anyone who has student debt or expects to in the future, including those who are no longer in school or who have student debt from funding the education of a family member.
