    SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION:
      
    --cfnc.org - This is a website students can use for some of their college applications and it also has a tool to send transcripts to colleges, but it is also a good resource to search for scholarships. Students should set up a cfnc account and go to the following link for scholarship information:
     
    --Cirkled In Scholarship - Cirkled In is the award-winning, secure, FREE platform for students to create an electronic portfolio showcasing their holistic skills and achievements. Students can get discovered by colleges and increase their success rate for all applications from internships to summer jobs and more. Students can apply by creating an account on the website and clicking "apply now."

    --Chowan University Athletic Scholarship Opportunity (Gymnastics/Tumbling/Competitive Cheer): This school offers opportunities to those with a background in artistic gymnastics, acrobatics gymnastics, trampoline & tumbling, and competitive cheerleading.     --College Board Opportunity Scholarships - The class of 2021 is eligible to earn College Board Opportunity Scholarships. This program will guide students through the college planning process, with a chance to earn scholarship money along the way. Each scholarship is open during different months, so make sure students keep track of their progress! Students can join the program by signing in to their College Board (SAT/AP) account and going to the following link:
     
    --Coca-Cola Scholars FoundationThe Coca Cola Scholars Program, the largest corporate-sponsored, achievement-based scholarship program in the country, is now accepting applications from current high school seniors to become Coca-Cola Scholars and receive one of 150 college scholarships worth $20,000. Students with at least a 3.0 GPA may apply. Full eligibility requirements can be found on the website.

    --Cybersecurity Scholarship Guide - The site was created to serve students interested in cybersecurity by delivering accurate, high quality information presented in a simple, clean format. They have quickly put together the most comprehensive resource available online and are working daily to add additional student resources. To support their mission they are working to get free resources in front of as many students as possible.  Here is a scholarship resource on the site that students might be interested in:
     
    --ECU Honors College/ECU Scholars Information - The Honors College is not requiring test scores for the fall 2021 entering class. Students who are unable or choose not to submit test scores will not be at a disadvantage in the Honors College admission process. In order to be eligible to apply to the Honors College, students must have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.5 and/or a minimum weighted GPA of 4.0, and apply to ECU no later than November 25 (application must be complete by this date, including receipt of transcripts). Students who are interested in the ECU Scholars Program must first be accepted to the ECU Honors College.

     --Gates Scholarship - The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding, minority, high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to 300 of these student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential.
    Eligibility requirements:
    • High school senior
    • From at least one of the following ethnicities: African American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian/Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American
    • Pell-eligible
    • A US citizen, national, or permanent resident
    • A minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)

     --Heisman High School Scholarship - High school student athletes are recognized throughout the country for academic and athletic achievements as well as their community service. Students can go to the website to learn more about the scholarship.

    --Horation Alger Scholarship - Students should have critical financial need; have integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity; have a minimum GPA of 2.0; be a US Citizen.

      --Jack Kent Cooke Foundation ScholarshipThe Cooke College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend and graduate from the nation's best four-year colleges and universities.

    --Jackie Robinson Foundation (JRF) Scholarship - The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides a multi-faceted experience designed to not only address the financial needs of minority students who aspire to attend college but also to guide them through the process of higher education.

        --KompareIt Higher Education Scholarship - KompareIt works every day to assist consumers in finding the right service for their home or business. We believe in the fundamentals of a strong home and family. We understand that losing a parent or guardian is an incredibly painful experience and it has a huge impact on the home and family. We believe students that are in this position deserve an extra push in helping them with their education, which we’d like to gift via a scholarship towards their educational expenses.

    --Matthew C. Graziadei Achievement Scholarship - This scholarship is open to ANY NC high school senior with ANY type of disability. This award includes a $1500 scholarship to be used for any post high school learning experience/training or for equipment/technology needed for employment. All NC students with disabilities are eligible for nomination.

    --National Beta Scholarship Program - To be eligible, students must be a high school senior and must be a national Beta Club member with an active membership ID number. Please see your Beta advisor at school for more information.

    --NCHSAA Endowed Fund Scholarships - Thanks to the generosity of many donors, the NCHSAA Endowed Fund offers several scholarships to eligible student-athletes of NCHSAA member schools. All scholarships and deadlines are listed on the link below.
     
    --NCSU Textile Scholarship Endorsement - For scholarship consideration, students must have submitted an NCSU admissions application by the Early Action deadline of November 1st. These scholarships are designed for students who are interested in a career in fields such as engineering, business management, design, chemistry, polymers, forensics, medical fields, fashion merchandising and retail management. Students can learn more about the scholarship and the application process by going to the website listed below. *Students should let their counselor know if they would like the opportunity to be endorsed.*

    --NCSU Park Scholarship - (Scholarship information is listed under "School Specific Scholarship Information" below)
     
    --O'Berry Scholarship - If you are headed to college with hopes of a future career field that assists developmentally disabled individuals, then this $1,000 scholarship may be for you.

    --PB&J Scholarship - This scholarship is for students who have experienced personal challenges that may not have allowed them to perform well academically, but who still have the drive to succeed. Examples of personal challenges may be: Medical issues, peer issues such as bullying, or family issues such as divorce, death, lack of income, homelessness, foster care, abuse, etc.

    --Perspective Scholarship - Scholarship can be found on Bold.org, a student scholarship platform. This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to high school students who have had a unique experience shift their perspective on life. You can find more information at the following website:

    --Prudential Spirit of Community Awards/ScholarshipAre you a middle level or high school student making a difference through volunteering? Apply today for national recognition, a scholarship and an invitation to the program's national recognition events!The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards honors students in grades 5-12 for making meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer service. Students must submit their completed applications, and signed student/parent agreements, to a certifier. (Certifiers can be school principals or the head of a county 4-H organization, Girl Scout council, American Red Cross chapter, YMCA or a Points of Light Global Network member.)

    --Questbridge National College Match Program - Are you a low-income high school senior who has excelled academically, but feels that the nation’s best colleges are financially out of reach? The QuestBridge National College Match can be your pathway to a top college. Through this college and scholarship application process, you can apply for free to the nation’s best colleges and be considered for early admission and a full four-year scholarship from the college.

    Eligibility: In order to be eligible to apply to the National College Match in the fall of 2020, applicants must graduate from high school during or before the summer of 2021 and plan to enroll as a freshman in college in the fall of 2021.

    The National College Match is open to all U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents OR students, regardless of citizenship, currently attending high school in the United States.

     SAMI-Aid Scholarship - At SAMI-Aid, we are proud to offer a scholarship program for students in the process of pursuing a college degree.
    The awarded student will receive $1,000 to be used towards expenses for his or her degree.

    --Scholar Snapp - Students can use their CommonApp information to easily apply for scholarships. Once students submit applications through the CommonApp, they will be able to creat a Scholar Snapp profile. They will be guided to connect their accounts so information can be transferred from the CommonApp application to their new Scholar Snapp profile. To connect: 1.) Connect to Scholar Snapp in the Financial Aid Resources tab of your CommonApp. 2.) Log in to your Scholar Snapp account, or register for a new account. 3.)     --United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP) - The USSYP provides an educational opportunity for juniors and seniors interested in pursuing college coursework in history or political science to spend a week in Washington, DC meeting senators, cabinet members, Supreme Court justices, and officials from various federal agencies and the White House. Due to the circumstances of the current pandemic, the upcoming Washington Week experience will be held online the week of March 15, 2021. ~Two student winners will be selected to represent NC. ~These two winners will each attend the Washington Week online program and receive a $10,000 undergraduate college scholarship!

    --Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Scholarship Programs - Please see the attached documents which give an overview of the "Voice of Democracy" scholarship program for Grades 9-12 students and the "Patriot's Pen" program for Grades 6-8 students. These programs are sponsored by VFW Post 9810 of Warsaw and its Auxiliary.

    --Victor E. Bell, Jr. Scholarship - College Foundation will be awarding up to fifteen scholarships to NC seventh graders. These awards are renewable each year, and they can provide up to $20,000 for college.
