My name is Jan Houston. I am one of the STEAMA Digital Teaching and Learning Specialist for Duplin County Schools. I have 12 years of experience in the school system. My experience has been widespread starting as a teacher assistant then moving on to get my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education which led me to Kindergarten and third grade. I then received my certification to teach Career and Technical Education business courses to middle school students. I have a master's degree in Instructional Technology and I am so excited to be able to put it to use in this position! I enjoy working with our DCS teachers and staff members with digital teaching and learning!
