• The varsity boys soccer team put in a herculean effort last night in not only defeating but also shutting out the number one ranked team in our conference, Neuse Charter, 1-0.  Anthony Mejia recorded the game winning goal with Geovanie Ayala earning the assist.  Multiple shots on goal were taken by Crismy Gonzalez, Anthony Mejia, Geovanie Ayala, and Danny Velasques-Lopez.  A tremendous defensive effort was put forth by Antonio Rosas-Martinez, Christina Gilbert, Erik Rosas, Julio Perez-Perez, Jose Juarez-Barrios, Jose Zavala, Henry Gonzalez, and Brandon Prudencio.  Goalkeeper Xander Mele recorded his very first shutout with 11 saves and, according to Max Preps,  is ranked second in the conference with a total of 85 saves.  Great Job Rebels!

     Student Council will meet in Mrs. Marcin’s room during 2nd Period Acceleration 10:45-11:15. Class representatives and officers should attend the meeting. 

     There will be a Battle of the Books interest meeting today during third period acceleration in the library.  Any 7th & 8th grade students interested in Battle of the Books are encouraged to attend.
