National FFA Organization
FFA is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. FFA develops members’ potential and helps them discover their talent through hands-on experiences, which give members the tools to achieve real-world success. Members are future chemists, veterinarians, government officials, entrepreneurs, bankers, international business leaders, teachers and premier professionals in many career fields. FFA is an intracurricular student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership. It is one of the three components of agricultural education.

FCCLA
FCCLA is a national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for students in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) education in public and private school through grade 12. Since 1945, FCCLA members have been making a difference in their families, careers, and communities by addressing important personal, work, and societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education.

Student Internships
Duplin County Schools student internships-
Eight student interns from Duplin County Schools are participating in a pioneering internship program focused on technology, general maintenance, and diesel mechanics. The program commenced on June 17 and will conclude in early August, marking the first of its kind in Duplin County Schools. Each intern is gaining practical experience and valuable skills in their chosen field under the guidance of seasoned professionals, contributing to both their personal development and the enhancement of school operations.
