Duplin County Partnership for Career Planning

The prime objective of the Duplin County Partnership for Career Planning is to provide a comprehensive career and technical education system through the cooperation and coordination of community resources including Duplin County Schools (DCS), James Sprunt Community College (JSCC), and Business and Industry.  In achieving this purpose, the Partnership aids in the following:

  • Observing and reviewing present programs for both DCS and JSCC
  • Advising the two education agencies concerning the needs of business and industry
  • Aiding in comprehensive planning including curriculum needs
  • Becoming the official advisory committee for DCS’ educational programs
  • Providing Business and Industry an avenue for active involvement in career and technical educational development for both DCS and JSCC.
