Employability Skills--Duplin Agribusiness and Business & Industry
Employability Skills Workshop
Employability skills in the workplace are very important, especially if you want to be successful. Well, agriculture is no different! Working in agriculture, you need essential skills such as analytical skills, management skills, interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills, communication skills, technology skills, and especially problem solving skills. You definitely need soft skills in the agricultural industry. This workshop was a requirement for the academy members who are in the 9th grade. This was a collaboration between Duplin Agribusiness Academy and the ITT Academy. Each session was scheduled for an hour and a half. NC Works was the presenter for the sessions at East Duplin and Wallace Rose Hill. The information presented was well received and our academy members did a great job.
