About the Health Sciences Academy
Purpose: Health care careers are in high demand, particularly in rural Eastern North Carolina, and promise to offer growth, stability, and security. Aligned with the support of our partners, several organizations in Duplin County saw the need for a growing number of high quality healthcare professionals in our region and decided to join forces to create the Duplin Health Sciences Academy. In addition to growing academy students in academics, professionalism, and soft skills, the HSA seeks to introduce students to the pathways for a variety of healthcare careers.
Mission: The Duplin Health Sciences Academy exists to provide a rigorous educational program in collaboration with local strategic partners to position students for future success as health care providers.
