ECU Health Duplin Hospital VolunTeen Information
Information for Summer 2024
- Sophomores or juniors who participated last year do not need to apply again but contact Ms. Nan Pate with your intent to volunteer this summer by April 1, 2024.
- Former volunteers will be required to make an appointment with Occupational Health and repeat their modules.
New Applicant Information
- Please complete this application form if you are interested in becoming a VolunTEEN at ECU Health Duplin Hospital.
- This year's VolunTEEN Program is scheduled to run from June 24-August 9, 2024.
- Each VolunTEEN must commit to volunteering a total of 30 hours during the summer program.
- All applicants must be at least a rising sophomore this fall and have an overall "B" average (GPA).
- Shifts are available Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm or 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and on Fridays 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
- The 30 hours during the summer must be completed to be eligible to return to volunteer during the school year and/or the following summer.
- Application must be received by Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
- Reference forms will be sent following the submission of an application and are due by Friday, March 29, 2024
