2025 Duplin Health Sciences Academy Scholarship

Are you a May 2025 graduating senior in good standing who has successfully completed or will complete upon graduation a Health Sciences Academy (HSA) pathway? If so, you are eligible to apply for a $1,000 scholarship in recognition of your commitment in HSA, hard work, and future aspirations in healthcare!

This scholarship is designed to recognize outstanding HSA graduates who exemplify the values and dedication of our Academy. The selected recipient will demonstrate excellence across the following areas:

✅ Active Participation in HSA Events and Activities
✅ Strong Commitment to a Health-Related Career Path
✅ Solid Academic Achievement
✅ Volunteer Experience in Health-Related Settings
✅ Exceptional Interview and Short Response Skills
✅ Involvement in Additional Relevant Programs

Applicants will be evaluated using the official HSA Scholarship Rubric, which prioritizes leadership, engagement, and preparation for a healthcare profession.

📋 Application Process:

Submit your online application by Monday, May 5. 

Applicants advancing to the next round will participate in a panel interview on May 9 in Kenansville (location TBD)
(The interview panel will include Academy staff and a representative from ECU Health.)

Recipients will be notified by May 14
