A Message From the Counselor:
Hello Everyone, My name is Vickie Reed. I am in my third year as a School Counselor. I received my undergraduate degree from Mount Olive College, and I also have a Masters of Education in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University. I currently attend Liberty University for School Counseling. I also enjoy working and talking to the students.
I am going to help them transform and transition from school to community by meeting with the students individually. Together we will plan their process to transition to work or to continue their education. My goal is to empower them by showing them how to use the resources that are available to them to research their selected careers.
THE RENAISSANCE MISSION
The mission of the counseling department is to assist students with personal, social, career, and academic growth to create productive, contributing members of society. We advocate for our students to ensure a positive school experience and to obtain a high school diploma. We work to help our students develop skills that will assist them in the future including responsible decision-making and cultivation of respect for themselves and others.
