Beyond The Books
Reading Program 2026
In March 2026, the district’s Second Annual Beyond the Books Showcase expanded into a two-day event, featuring separate elementary and middle school showcases and highlighting the creativity and talent of more than 1,700 students districtwide. After competing at the school level, top student creators advanced to the district showcase to compete in categories such as From Page to Stage, Read & Reel, and Diorama Drama, blending literacy with creativity, performance, and digital innovation.
