2023-24 School Improvement Planning Process
2023-24 School Improvement Planning Process
(updated 8.31.2023)
Rationale
A vital component of the school improvement and MTSS process is the collection and review of school data (demographic, performance, process, perception). Each year, it is important to analyze data to determine what changes, if any, may be necessary for School Improvement Plans to best support the needs of our students. Knowing this, the process for schools to follow to self-assess their progress and plan for school improvement is outlined below.
School Improvement Plan Timeline: 2023-24
July 1 – June 30: Two meetings per month documented in NCStar with Agendas and Minutes
September 8: Self-Assessment (Phases 1-4) completed in school Google Doc to document previous years’ progress. The 2023 Self-Assessment Data Analysis Form and the 2023 Design Principle Rubric are linked in the NCStar folder. Previous data from each form was carried over from 2022-23 to streamline the completion.
