Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Resources
Duplin County Schools Social-Emotional Learning Plan
Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions. A focus on SEL may also help students set and achieve positive goals as they feel and show empathy for others. Students will receive support as they establish and maintain positive relationships and make responsible decisions.
Creating a sense of belonging and an appreciation for collective well-being can support equity, advocacy, and service to others. By working together, educators, students, families, and communities can build healthy learning environments that will prepare our students for a productive future
