Welcome to Family and Consumer Sciences!

Please email me any time you have a question or concern about my class and I will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible.  If needed, I may be available to speak with you during my planning period, 1st period, 8:00 - 9:15, or after school.  Just call the main number of the school and speak with reception.

Please check Canvas for the most up-to-date information for my classes.

Wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands, stay safe, and stay healthy!

    A little about me:
I am originally from Augusta, Georgia, and graduated from the University of Georgia.  I have lived in Duplin County since 2008, when my husband and I got married. We have four sons, who keep us very busy.  I have education and experience in most all of the courses covered in the area of Family and Consumer Sciences, including Food and Nutrition, Interior Design, and Parenting and Child Development. I am certified in ServSafe and as a ServSafe Instructor/Proctor.  I began teaching at East Duplin High School in 2014.
