    Welcome to Family and Consumer Sciences!

    My office hours are: M/W/F  9:00am-11:00am and Tu/Th 11:00am-1:00pm, however feel free to email me any time you have a question or concern and I will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible.

    A little about me:
    I am originally from Augusta, Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia.  I have lived in Duplin County since 2008, when my husband and I got married. We have four sons, who keep us very busy.  I have education and experience in most all of the courses covered in the area of Family and Consumer Sciences, including Food and Nutrition, Interior Design and Parenting and Child Development. I am certified in ServSafe and as a ServSafe Instructor / Proctor.  I began teaching at East Duplin High School in 2014.

Announcements

  • A new course may be added for Fall 2020.   FCS and Ag students will now have the oppotunity to take an exciting new class called Food Science and Technology.   Food & Nutrition I is the only prerequisite for the class.  See Mrs. Lane or guidance with questions.
