I am so glad to be here to serve our English Language Learners! I have taught first graders in Duplin County for 14.5 years. I am excited to begin in a new position that will not only help first graders, but all grades here at North Duplin.  It will be an exciting year and the rewards at the end of the year will be wonderful! 

     I am a North Duplin Rebel through and through. I went to North Duplin from Kindergarten to 12th grade. My husband also is a graduate of North Duplin and now our daughter is also a Rebel graduate. She is a freshman at the University of Mount Olive this year. 

     After graduating from North Duplin, I attended Mount Olive College and then North Carolina Wesleyan.  It was there that I received a bachelor's degree in Psychology. I then completed my teaching requirements at East Carolina University. Go Pirates! Years later, I completed the requirements for ESL.
