     I hope all of my students are doing well and still learning while we are out dealing with the situation we are in due to this virus.  I also hope you guys and girls are staying active outside or inside by incorporating physical activity into your daily routine.  While some of us do not have access to facilities, this is a great time to use hour imagination to stay active and healthy.  Here are some exercises that you can do inside or outside and do not require any equipment.  Also this is a time you can use your phones in PE to listen to music while doing the workout or just record your progress.   
    1.  Jumping Jacks (3 sets of 10)
    2.  Arms circles both tight ones and long loose ones.  This will help keep your shoulder tendons tight and strong as well as a great way to relax and stretch the shoulder girdle with the long arm circles. 
    3.  Cherry Pickers (3 sets of 10) This will help you maintain flexibility in your lower back and hamstrings.  
    4.  Squats (3 sets of 10). This will help not only build muscle mass and definition in your legs but also will help strengthen your core absominal muscles as well.  
    5.  Push Ups (3 sets of 10). Push ups are a great way to build strength in your arms and chest muscles as well as it engages your core muscles.
    6.  Sit ups (3 sets of 10). By performing 3 sets of 10 sit ups you will engage your core abdominal muscles.

    Goals are a huge part of our lives in being successful.  Class we have talked in the past about short and long term goals and how establishing them allow us to achieve success in different areas of our lives.  In times like these when we have a time to step back for an extended period of time we can reflect and look back at goals that we did achieve and some we just fell short of.  
    For this assignment, I would like to hear from you, Eagles, as to what are some goals you have for yourself over the summer and going into next fall's school year.  I want you to think of any long term goal you would like to make and how your short term goals is going to allow you to achieve success in your goal.  For some of you it may be that you would like to be more active.  It could be a change that you would like to make in your social life or academically related.  In any event I would like to hear from you guys about your individual goal or goals by emailing me at
