Hello students and welcome to the 2020-21 school year here at Rose Hill Magnolia.  My name is Kenton (Craig) Smith and I am excited to have you in my physical education and health class's.
Here at RHM I serve as not only a teacher but also as Athletic Director, Head coach for the football, basketball and baseball teams.   Speaking of athletics if your child has aspirations to play sports this coming year your child will need to get an athletic sports physical.   Below I have listed ways both athletes and non athletes can stay in shape during the pandemic that does not require any equipment.
    1.  Jumping Jacks (3 sets of 10)
    2.  Arms circles both tight ones and long loose ones.  This will help keep your shoulder tendons tight and strong as well as a great way to relax and stretch the shoulder girdle with the long arm circles.
    3.  Cherry Pickers (3 sets of 10) This will help you maintain flexibility in your lower back and hamstrings.
    4.  Squats (3 sets of 10). This will help not only build muscle mass and definition in your legs but also will help strengthen your core absominal muscles as well.
    5.  Push Ups (3 sets of 10). Push ups are a great way to build strength in your arms and chest muscles as well as it engages your core muscles.
    6.  Sit ups (3 sets of 10). By performing 3 sets of 10 sit ups you will engage your core abdominal muscles.
