    Hi there!

Welcome to 4th Grade! My name is Amanda Outlaw, and I have taught 4th Grade for 6 years now. I moved to Duplin County in 2014, and live with my husband, our son and our chocolate lab puppy dog  On the weekends I love to be at the beach, watch NC State or Carolina Panthers football, read, fish, hunt, run, and craft. I have a brother who is receiving his masters at ECU, and a sister who attends Campbell University. I graduated from UNCG in 2014 with a B.S. in Elementary Education, concentration in Environmental Science, and a minor in Sociology.
My classroom is a place where all children are invited to learn, engage and have a voice in their education. My goal is to have each of my students succeed academically and personally while maximizing their potenial each and every day. I vow to discover and build upon each of your child's strengths.
I am so excited to be able to provide my 4th graders with the opportunity to begin their personalized learning journey with technology. NCDPI provided an application for a grant to receive 20 chromebooks for a class. Fortunately, I received the grant and we have loved using our chrome books daily!
