Welcome to Kindergarten!

Kristen Sumner- Hello! My name is Kristen Sumner.  I am so excited about being your kindergarten teacher this year. I graduated from Campbell University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.  I also received National Board Certification in the area of early childhood generalist.  

I am married to my husband, Mickey Sumner, and we have one son, Isaiah Sumner, who attends Campbell University and plays football. Go Camels!  We also have two cats, Jack-Jack and Sulley, who are both spoiled rotten.  I enjoy spending time with my family, watching football and basketball, reading, walking on the beach, and organizing. A fun fact about me is that I don't like ice cream. I am very excited that you are in my class this year, and I can't wait to get started learning and growing with you!
