       Hello and welcome to 8th grade Math!   I am looking forward to an exciting and successful school year.  My name is Melissa Acevedo and I was born and raised in Duplin County.  Growing up in Albertson, I attended B.F. Grady Elementary and graduated from East Duplin High School.   I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Middle Grades Education from East Carolina University and my Masters degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. This is my 27th year of teaching and all 27 years have been served here at Beulaville Elementary.
