     ANNOUNCEMENTS

8/20/20  WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL! It may look a little different - but we are going to have a great year!!!  All classroom announcements and assignments will be posted through Chrome Google Classroom.  Wishing everyone a great year!

5/29/20  WOW - WHAT A YEAR!  Today is literally our last day of school and I am so proud of all my students!  Over the summer, please keep checking out the fun websites your teachers and I have listed on our sites....you probably have found some great sites too.  Reading and practicing math over the summer will help you so much when we meet back. Keep checking the Duplin County Schools website as they will provide the most up to date information on the next school year. You should get report cards over the next week. Last but not least---have a safe, fun, and happy summer. See you in August!

5/18/20 HOPE everyone is doing well during this unusual time. I have gotten a few responses back on the Scavenger Hunt which were very creative!!!!  I hope to see more this week. Over the next week, I plan to try to call each one of you/parents/guardians to check in and say hello.  Again, keep checking your email and teacher's websites. Keep working on reading and math----it can only help you!  For anyone who has medications at school - medications can be picked up on Thursday 5/21/20 from 11:00-3:00 from the school nurse in the front circle. I MISS ALL OF YOU!

5/11/20 HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY.  Hope everyone had a good weekend. I also hope you got something in the mail from me and have started your scavenger hunt. The hunt can be amazingly fun. Send me a picture if you can-I would love to see your finds and creatvity. Please keep reading, working on math, and don't forget writing. Keep checking your teacher's websites and your email. They continue to post valuable information. Email your teacher or me if you/your parent's have questions . HAVE A GREAT AND SAFE WEEK!

5/4/20. WELCOME TO MAY!  As always, I hope that everyone is doing well. The important announcement this week is for parents/guardians to be on the lookout for a call from your child's homeroom teacher. They will be giving you valuable information on your child's progress this year. Students (and parents) - keep checking your teacher's websites for resources/assignments. And students - be on the lookout for something in the mail from mebox .

4/27/20. HELLO TO ALL! Hope eveyone is doing well. Just in case you have internet issues, there is free drive-up WiFi available at various spots in Duplin County. Beulaville Town Hall and EDHS are probably the closer ones. Check the Duplin County Schools website for other locations. Please keep checking your teacher's websites for assignments and information. Again, these are not mandatory, but a great way to keep learning while apart. STAY SAFE! I MISS YOU ALL!

4/20/20. Hey guys! Hope everyone is doing well and you had a nice spring break. Just wanted to give a few updates. Please make sure to check each of your teacher's websites...they are updating weekly with announcements and assignments. They are not required - but will help you through this time we are apart. There are also some wonderful and fun sites to check out. I have emailed each of you...it would be great to hear back from you!  STAY SAFE-HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!
