Through high expectations, children can and will learn!
Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,
Welcome to a new year at Kenansville Elementary School. I am pleased and honored to be your CTE/STEM teacher! I am truly looking forward to working with and getting to know each one of my students and their families this year. I pledge that if you participate in our exploration, I will do my best to make learning interesting, meaningful, and fun! I expect all of my students to put forth his or her best effort each and every day. We will focus on Project Base Learning which requires full cooperation by all involved. I believe that organization, structure and routine will lead to a successful year in CTE/STEM.
I have many expectations from my students and one of the biggest is being responsible for assignments and actions. Students are responsible for completing and turning in each assignment. It is essential that all students follow up on homework, correspondences (email), and positive behavior. Students will have weekly assignments and minimum homework assignments. Students will sign on to their Canvas Management System account daily.
I can promise that I will work hard to provide the best instruction possible for my students. However, my dedication is expected to be matched by all students. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, I can be reached by email at abest@duplinschools.net. I look forward to an exciting year.
Sincerely,
Ms. Artheresa Best, MBA
