Greetings Parents,

I am excited about being your child's teacher this year. Please take the time to download classdojo as I will be using this application as my two-way communication tool along with phone calls. I am here to assist you in any way that I can to ensure that all students are successful in their first grade educational experience.

Teaching has been my passion for several years. I am so excited to be a part of the Rose Hill-Magnolia Elementary first grade team! More importantly, I am thrilled to work with you and your child. I have so many fun and innovative ways that I want to get each student involved and excited about learning this year. It’s going to be a year filled with fun, learning, and adventure. I want to know all about you, so here’s a little about me.

Duplin County is home for me. I reside with my sweet fur baby who is the highlight of my life!!! I graduated from Fayetteville State University with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Birth through Kindergarten Education with a minor in psychology, Bronco Pride!!!, and from Grand Canyon University with my Masters of Education in Early Childhood Education. Go Lopes!!! I completed my teacher licensure course work at East Carolina University. Go Pirates!! It is my goal to instill a passion for learning into every student that I teach.
