Welcome Students and Parents:

I would like to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year. My name is Angeleique Thomas and I am excited to have your student scholar in my class. Your student scholar will discover an informative, creative, and interactive classroom to explore the concepts of language acquisition and comprehension. Student scholars will spend the majority of time working on the following components: learning conversational English (speaking), grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary, and listening (comprehension).

Going into this academic school year,  my classroom mantra is “every student scholar has greatness contained within.” My role is to help each student scholar who enters my classroom and our wonderful school tap into that inner greatness and develop a passion for learning.

Our classroom will have a strong focus on global education, which will allow student scholars to explore content and concepts that will enable them to consider a variety of different perspectives which will provide skills to assist with navigating the world.

We have a lot of information to cover this school year. In order to achieve each student scholar’s maximum potential, I will expect each young person to adhere to standard classroom etiquette. An environment that is based on high expectations, respect, accountability, courtesy, and rigor. These integral components will allow for academic success now and in the future.
