Hello Parents and Faculty, I am a Self-Contained Exceptional  Teacher here at B. F. Grady School, and I am so excited about being a part of the Panther Family. I started working with in 1993 as a teacher's assistant for many grade-levels including Pre-K, 1st, 2nd, Exceptional Children and Resource. I started working with Special Education in 2009; particularly with children with Autism. I was employed with Lenoir County Public Schools serving children in both General Education and Special Education. I am a recent graduate of Grand Canyon University, recieving a Dual Major of Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education. I look forward to having a great first year here at B.F. Grady. My ultimate goal is to make sure that all children learn and gain the necessary skills  that they will need  to becoming a thriving citizen.

I live in Kinston North Carolina with my son who is a Senoir this year at Kinston High School (whoo-ooo)!! I also have a 27 year old daughter that lives in Winston Salem North Carolinal. She is an educator as well and is currently in school getting her Masters in Child Psychology. Outside of work I love going to football games, basketball games, and church. Spending time with family is so important to me because after losing my mom I realized then how life is so precious and we should cherish those moments.

I truly believe that "All Children Can Learn, they just Don't All Learn the Same".
