Mr. Bennjerman Lamey

Welcome to Earth and Environmental Science! I’m excited to get started and welcome you into this course with an open heart and mind. Freshman Year is a big time in your life where you transition from middle school to high school. I am excited to accompany you and assist in this transition. While I have all semester to learn about you and your background, I’ll tell you a little about mine. I was born and raised in North Carolina and grew up in the Fayetteville area. I went to school at University North Carolina Wilmington where I received a Bachelors of Science in Physical Oceanography. From graduation I came straight here to Duplin schools so this will be my first official class, which makes you students extra special because you’ll be my first group of students ever! My hobbies include S.C.U.B.A diving as well as farming and rebuilding vehicles. But I tend to spend most of my time farming, because the farm is 300 acres this takes up most of my time. I raise goats, cows, chickens, donkeys and a variety of other livestock as well as produce various different crops like corn and soybeans.  Now that you know a little about me I hope to learn more about you this year.

Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have and I'll do my best to help at blamey@duplinschools.net Go Mavericks!
