My name is Christopher Speed and I am a graduate of East Carolina University. I have been teaching Exceptional Children for 7 years. I taught my first three years of teaching in a self-contained classroom for students with multiple disabilities in Wilson, NC. I then taught a classroom for students with autism at Kenansville Elementary for a year, and transferred to Wallace Elementary where I have been their EC Resource teacher ever since. I mainly teach students in the kindergarten through the 4th grade, but I do have some middle school students. I teach specalized instruction in reading and math, using research based intervention programs - Number Worlds, Reading Mastery, SPIRE, and Corrective Reading.
