I grew up in Eureka, NC and graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School in 2007. I moved to Beulaville in 2011, after marrying my husband, and I have grown to love the community and people. I graduated in 2019 from East Carolina University (go Pirates!) with a degree in Family & Consumer Sciences Education. After working as a substitute teacher and completing my teaching intership at EDHS, I was thrilled to be able to give back and start my teaching career at EDHS in 2019.
Due to the coronavirus we will not be gathering together as a class. I am saddened by this, however; we will make it through together. #DuplinStrong
I have created a google classroom account for the remainder of the semester. Please visit remind, as I have sent all of my students a code to join. I post assignments each Monday morning at 8:00 am.
I encourage you to continue learning in your home. Gather with your parents/guardians and help cook dinner, clean your room, help clean the house, do some chores, reach out to your grandparents and help them if needed, go outside and enjoy the simple life. Don't get caught up in what we "can't do", instead enjoy the life we are given in its simplist form. If you need help coming up with learning opportunities, I have attached the link to view the options what Duplin County has suggested. https://sites.google.com/duplinschools.net/homelearningresources/home
As always, I am just an email away. I am praying for you and your family through this difficult time.
