  • Hello, my name is Mrs. Gill and I teach Agriculture Education at James Kenan High School. I grew up here in Duplin County where I attended East Duplin High School before attending North Carolina State University where I obtained a B.S. in Agricultural Education, concentration in Agribusiness Management, and a minor in Animal Science.

Throughout the year we will be learning about the many facets of agriculture using a variety of teaching methods and projects to allow all students the opportunity to see how agriculture relates to them and how they could apply what we learn in class to their own lives. It is a goal in my class that students grow in knowledge and also personally. Students will have the opportunity to be involved with agriculture in the classroom, by participating in the FFA Organization, and by completing a SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experience) Project.
