Kenneth Williams

Welcome to the new Electrical Trades class here at James Kenan! My name is Kenneth Williams and I am excited to lead this new curriculum opportunity for our students, school, and community. I have been a part of the Tiger family for several years now, beginning with my current position as head coach for girl's basketball. In addition to coaching, I have also served as a bus driver and long-term substitute the last two years; doing everything possible to serve our students and this school which I have come to love. I was raised in Craven County, but have lived in Duplin County for over seventeen years and am proud to call it my home.

Before stepping away to pursue my goals of teachng full-time, I worked in the electrical industry for nearly 25 years, with 20 years of that time serving in supervisory and training positions of different levels. This experience has given me keen insight into the needs of the industry, as well as the training methods and techniques required to ensure our students have the knowledge and skillset upon which they can build successful careers. The electrical industry is as important and vital to our futures as ever, and together we will build an electrical program that is second to none! GO TIGERS!
