4TH GRADE 

SOCIAL STUDIES AND SCIENCE

Hello, my name is Gail Stridiron and I’m so excited to be working with the 4th grade classes this year as their Social Studies and Science teacher.  I have lived in Duplin County for over 20 years and have worked in the Duplin County School system for over 18 years.  I began my teaching journey at Warsaw Elementary, where I served as a tutor, teacher's assistant, and bus driver.  I then transferred to Kenansville Elementary as a teacher assistant and bus driver, then served as the 3rd-5th grade Mission Lab facilitator, K-2 STEAMA facilitator, and co-teacher / teacher for 6th grade Social Studies and Science.  This year, I am the teacher for 4th grade Social Studies and Science.  Our world has changed so much from the past to the present and is continuously evolving.  Together we will uncover the history and science behind our evolution as we explore this mysterious world we live in.  I am looking forward to meeting the students as we return to the classroom and start this exciting new school year.
