Mr. Tregoning

Mr. Tregoning is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. Throughout his time at Kent State, "Mr. T" was actively involved in several ensembles including the Kent State Marching Golden Flashes, Kent State "FlasherBrass" and the Kent State University Jazz Ensembles.

Before coming to North Duplin, Mr. Tregoning was the Interim Director of Bands for the Wickliffe City Schools in Wickliffe, Ohio. He was responsible for teaching band for grades 5-12 for the 2021-22 school year. Before that he served as the Assistant Marching Band Director for The Pride of Mayfield at Mayfield High School in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.

During his time at Kent State University, Mr. Tregoning was a recipient of the Hugh A. Glauser School of Music Scholarship and the Kent State University Trustees Scholarship.

In his spare time, you can find Mr. Tregoning on the golf course or at the beach! He also loves playing video games and passionately rooting for all of his Cleveland sports teams. Mr. Tregoning and his wife, Kristen have a rescued Senior Doberman Lab mix named Goomba (age 11) and a rescued black cat named Mr. Jingles (age 9).

Mr. Tregoning is excited for the opportunity to work with these talented musicians here at NDHS and continue to get better every single day.
