    Career Day 2020

Remember Professor Mad from Career Day 2020?  Haha!

I will teach STEM here or there,

    I will teach them everywhere!

I will teach it from afar,

ALL my kids will know what STEM careers are!

I love and miss you all!  -Mrs. Wolfe

    STEM from home

When I can't do STEM with my middle school kids, I do STEM with my own kids instead!

What STEM have you been doing while you've been home due to Covid-19?  Email me a picture, I can't wait to see!

I am a graduate of Converse College with licensure in Middle Grades Science Technology Education and I am currently facilitating STEM education for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in our state of the art Pitsco STEM Academy.  Please contact me to schedule a visit if you are interested in learning what happens when we are immersed in STEM content and hands-on learning experiences!
Please utilize the "HOME LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES" link on the left for a variety of weekly tasks that you can complete as you learn from home.  There will be additions to this page weekly - additions will be made on Friday afternoons in preparation for the following week.  In an attempt to provide you with lots of other STEM activities and STEM fun I will also be adding links and resources to the "BOREDOM BUSTERS" link that is also on the left!  If you find something cool online that you think others may like, please send me the link and I will add it.  If you DO something cool using any of the links, please email me a picture so that I can not only see how you're doing but so that I can check out your cool STEM work and STEM creations!  My email address is above just in case you don't already know it!
During this strange and uncertain time, please reach out to me using my email address above if you have any questions or concerns - STEM related or not!  I look forward to hearing from you all very soon!
Each module will take approximately three weeks and progress reports will be distributed at the end of each rotation after students have completely finished their module and completed the post-test at the end of their module.  If you're learning from home or looking for something to keep you occupied during our extended break from school - please check out the BOREDOM BUSTERS on the left side of this page!
Please use the website below when completing the internet career investigation assignments for my class.  Remember that the career you choose must somehow be related to the module you have just completed in class.  You may also use this website at ANY time to explore any careers that interest you!
Use the information provided by the NC State Superintendent to learn more about available options and career choices after high school.
