My name is Alisa Simmons and this is my 27th year as an educator at Warsaw Elementary School. During this time I have taught kindergarten, served as a reading coach/lead teacher, fourth-grade teacher, sixth grade ELA teacher, fifth grade ELA/Social Studies teacher, and now I serve as ELA support for grades 4-8. My goal is to support our ELA teachers in finding new resources to help all students; as well as helping them make the most of the resources they already have. I am dedicated to Warsaw Elementary and I am here to serve in any way I can.
I obtained my Bachelor's degree at North Carolina Central University, AIG certification from Campbell University, and my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. I consider myself to be a lifelong learner and enjoy learning new things all the time.

Please feel free to contact me at school (910-293-3121) or email me at asimmons@duplinschools.net
