    Welcome to Fifth Grade!!!!
    This will be my 26th year as an educator at Warsaw Elementary School. During this time I have taught kindergarten, served as a reading coach/lead teacher, fourth-grade teacher, sixth grade ELA teacher, and now fifth grade ELA and Social Studies teacher.
    I obtained my Bachelor's degree at North Carolina Central University, AIG certification from Campbell University, and my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. I consider myself to be a lifelong learner and enjoy learning new things right along with my students.
    I am excited about working with you and your child(ren). The students in my class will strive for "Excellence Without Excuses".  In order to ensure that your child has a successful year, please do the following:
    • Be sure that your child at school on time every day.
    • Make sure that he/she is prepared for class and completes all assigned homework.
    • Encourage him/her to listen and follow all classroom and school expectations.
    Our encore (resource) time will be 12:25-1:10 and lunch time is 11:52-12:23
