Council 12921, Wallace, NC
Did You Know That....?
-During 2019, Knights of Columbus Council 12921 supplied $7,000 to the Duplin County Exceptional Student Schools/ Teachers...and,
-Hurricane Florence's flooding "washed" 4 EC Families out of their homes or destroyed their belongings and our Council donated $250 to each family and,
-We run a golf tournament every year (this is the 11th) to benefit these Exceptional Children???.can you help us?
When I was an Exceptional Student Job Coach at North Duplin, I met an incredible number of EC Teachers and Assistants throughout DCS. Every one of them was dedicated to doing the best to develop the children in their care. However, some developmental items and programs may not be in the budget. For that reason and for over ten years our Knights of Columbus Council 12921 has sponsored a golf tournament to raise funds to supplement the EC budgets. These grants purchase programs and equipment meant to develop skills for these Special Kids.
We need players and sponsors, however, we would accept any donation amount to support this cause. The rescheduled golf tournament will take place on
Friday, August 28, 2020, at River Landing Golf Club. Help us make this another successful event.
Schools are not in session, but the needs are still there. Please see the attached application, and, feel free to share this announcement.
