October 2 is National Custodial Workers Recognition Day
“Today is National Custodial Workers Recognition Day. In Duplin County Schools we are blessed to have the best Custodial and Maintenance staff. While these dedicated men and women operate behind the scenes, they are critical in helping ensure our facilities are clean and conducive to learning. This year, they pulled together and worked tirelessly-devoting their time and effort to their colleagues in other schools- to help ensure classrooms were ready to receive students. Our Custodial and Maintenance staff can often be found offering an encouraging word or smile to those around them. On behalf of our Board of Education, I want to thank each of you for all you have done and continue to do for Duplin County Schools. Happy Custodial Workers Recognition Day!”
