Bonnie Miller is named Duplin County Schools' Employee of the Quarter
KENANSVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA- March 5, 2019- Duplin County Schools has named Bonnie Miller as the Employee of the Quarter. Ms. Miller was presented with a plaque in recognition of the honor during the recent Board of Education meeting.
Chairman Brent Davis stated “Miller has been employed with Duplin County Schools for approximately 35 years. She currently serves as the Licensure Specialist in Human Resources. Over the years, Ms. Miller has been instrumental in the transition of six HR Directors. She has a wealth of knowledge in the area of personnel and she is often referred to as the ‘go-to’ person. Ms. Miller is dedicated and takes her responsibilities very seriously. She humbly works in the background guiding our teachers through the licensure and CEU credit procedures. Ms. Miller is passionate about her work and goes the extra mile to ensure each staff member is on track to meet their licensure requirements. It is a great honor for me tonight, on behalf of the Board of Education, to present Ms. Bonnie Miller with the Employee of the Quarter for Duplin County Schools.”
Superintendent Dr. Austin Obasohan later noted, “Bonnie Miller is truly an asset to Duplin County Schools. She is dedicated to our teachers and staff members and always go above and beyond her responsibilities. Ms. Miller is very deserving of this honor, and we are fortunate to have her as part of the DCS family.”
