Kim Harvell is awarded the Clyde Davis RAC 5 Testing Coordinator of the Year Award
KENANSVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA- April 11, 2019 - Kim Harvell, Director of Testing/Student Data Management for Duplin County Schools, was presented the Clyde Davis RAC 5 Testing Coordinator of the Year Award at Thursday's Regional Accountability meeting in Kenansville.
Clyde Davis is a former NCDPI Regional Accountability Coordinator who served region 5. The award, presented in his honor, is given annually to a District Testing Coordinator representing Region 5, one of the accountability regions across North Carolina.
Ms. Harvell was nominated by her peers and was selected from a ballot of all Region 5 District Testing Coordinators. Ms. Harvell’s leadership skills, organizational skills, willingness to help others, and her general knowledge and willingness to serve Region 5 were reasons for her selection.
Superintendent Dr. Austin Obasohan later noted, “We are very proud of Ms. Harvell for all her hard work and dedication to the Testing and Accountability program for Duplin County Schools. Ms. Harvell’s work ethic is exceptional and she is very deserving of this honor. We are privileged to have her as part of our DCS family.”
