Every year in October, the American Federation of School Administrators, the National Association of Elementary School Principals and the National Association of Secondary School Principals join forces to celebrate our nation’s principals for their tireless dedication to their students and the schools they serve.
Principals across the district are dedicated leaders committed to serving the students of Duplin County Schools. They work tirelessly to create a positive school culture, build connections with parents and community, set high expectations for student achievement while effectively leading our schools to success. Their work is extremely important and the entire school community is grateful for their service.
“On behalf of the Board of Education, I want to thank you for everything that you do to serve the students and staff of Duplin County Schools. Thank you for the sacrifices you make and for loving our children. We honor you as true leaders in our schools and appreciate all that you do to ensure that every child is successful no matter what,” said Superintendent, Dr. Austin Obasohan.
