Ms. Jessica Servin, 1st Grade Teacher here at Rose Hill-Magnolia Elementary, found out she is the NCCAT 2023 Duplin County Beginning Teacher of the Year.

Ms. Servin is a 2nd year teacher and demonstrates a true love for her students and her profession.  Ms. Nicole Murray brought the award and recalled when Ms. Servin was a student at Duplin Early College High School when Ms. Murray was the Principal.  She recalled what a great student Ms. Servin was and talked of Duplin County's appreciation of teachers like Ms. Servin who show the passion they have for teaching.  Ms. Servin will represent Duplin County in the regional BT Teachers Contest.
