Kenansville, NC - Duplin County Schools is proud to recognize three outstanding educators who have earned National Board Certification, one of the most respected professional certifications available in education. This rigorous, voluntary process is designed to develop, retain, and recognize accomplished teachers and to generate ongoing improvement in schools nationwide.

Congratulations to the following educators for achieving this distinguished honor:

Hannah Bell, James Kenan High School

Heather Bradburn, B.F. Grady Elementary School

Samantha Rouse, B.F. Grady Elementary School

Earning National Board Certification signifies a teacher's commitment to excellence and mastery in their field. It requires educators to demonstrate advanced knowledge, skills, and practices in their chosen teaching field through a series of performance-based, peer-reviewed assessments.

Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources, Daren Tyndall, shared his appreciation for these educators, stating, We are incredibly proud of our teachers who have earned National Board Certification. Their dedication to excellence reflects a deep commitment to student success and to the teaching profession.”

Duplin County Schools proudly recognizes the dedication and commitment of these educators and is grateful to have such accomplished professionals guiding and inspiring our students.
